After a much-needed break, I’m back into the swing of things. Unfortunately, Kiki has been sick so instead of our grand plans of visiting new places, we stayed home and tried to get better. I also dabbled in some Valentine’s Day decor after packing up all of the Christmas items. This week the kids are back in school, I’m back to work and it feels really good- back on schedule is just what we needed. I picked up a new Happy Planner, new stickers and it feels good to plan out a new month.
In 2017 my word of the year was CONSISTENT. I wanted to consistently travel, have family time, declutter and write in this space. I really think that I succeeded with family time, travel and blog posts. It felt like I got way more interaction with my readers and we got to go on some fun adventures- Walt Disney World, Hawaii and Atlanta just to name a few. I also partnered with some great brands and 2018 will bring more of the same.
So, this year my word is INVEST. Invest in this blog, in my mental health (stop stressing so much!!) and invest in the people that invest in me. I’m at the age when my friendships have whittled down. And honestly, I’m totally ok with that. And so, with the people that reach out, I need to reach back. 2018 will be the year I do that.
