Villa La Estancia in Cabo San Lucas was a last minute choice for us doe to a great deal on VRBO. After a solid week of being pampered by the staff we will definitely be back. Cabo San Lucas is known for its beautiful beaches, but did you know there are some gorgeous lesser known restaurants around the Marina? On a recent trip to Baja and Cabo, we discovered some kid friendly and authentic restaurants near the Marina. The Marina was less than ten minutes from our hotel so we often went there to eat and explore. We always felt safe and looked forward to finding someplace new to eat at! It’s finally October and the house is ready for Halloween! This year we brought back our fun stick on bats but also included some fun Lowe’s Halloween decor pieces to up the spookiness in our house. My approach to decorating my mantle for Halloween is simple; mix new and vintage pieces, stick to 2 main colors and create a clean/uncluttered but fun look.
The kids and I took a fun trip to Lowe’s where they helped me pick up a few items for our indoor/outdoor look. I liked that they had a range of cheerful Halloween items, like Disney themed Halloween decorations, to lots of inflatables but also lots of more spooky items like skulls and black candelabras.
The girls helped me out by sticking the bats to the wall and choosing which pumpkins we would use. They also worked on putting all the batteries in the battery operated lanterns so they could see them light up when it got dark. As they get older they are requesting bigger roles in decorating the house which makes me happy!
