Pints start at $9 and they are one of the few shops that offer their flavors by the gallon.

Lappert’s is one of the best places to get ice cream and it is located in downtown Honolulu on the island of Oahu. Downtown Honolulu is home to a hidden gem known as Wing Shave Ice and Ice Cream. This charming spot is known for its inventive ice cream creations that are as playful as they are delicious.  Located on the corner of Maunakea and Pauahi, this little hole-in-the-wall is a great option for ice cream on Oahu.

Explore signature flavors like Mango, Chrysanthemum, and Thai Pineapple Basil Sorbet, or opt for their rotating selection of limited-time flavors that push the boundaries of creativity. With each visit, you’ll discover a new flavor adventure that’s as exciting as it is flavorful. Wing Ice Cream Parlor is a testament to the fact that when it comes to ice cream, there are no limits to the imagination.

Wing occasionally has vegan flavors but make sure to call before you go as they don’t always carry them.  They also sometimes carry dairy-free ice cream but like the vegan options, it is best to call ahead.

They have very little seating for this joint, so if they’re busy, you’ll feel better eating on the go. Parking in this area is either street parking, municipal parking, or the small pay-to-park lot nearby.

Indulge your sweet tooth at Sweet as, a small-batch ice cream shop with locations in Laie and Haleiwa on Oahu’s North Shore. At Sweet as, you choose your base, fruit, and size. Choose from mango, pineapple, lilikoi, strawberry, blueberry, mixed berry, or raspberry. For ice cream, they have different flavors like vanilla, coconut, frozen yogurt, and dairy-free coconut for an extra $1.

Sweet as offers ice cream blended with frozen fruit making it one of the more unique ice cream shops on Oahu.

Ice cream is available in cups, waffle cones, starting at $6 for a single scoop. Double and triple scoops are also available.

Satisfy your sweet tooth at Black Sheep Creamery, a popular ice cream shop located in Waipahu on Oahu. Black Sheep is a great place because it uses fresh ingredients to handcraft small batches of unique ice cream flavors. Some customer favorites include the Tropic Like its Hot which is coconut cream and ube butter cake.  They also serve the Dirty Blonde, which is dark roast coffee cream with blondie bits. which is our personal favorite.

Ice cream is available in cups or waffle cones starting at $3.75 for a single scoop. Double and triple scoops are also available. Pints start at $10.75.

Black Sheep offers an extensive menu of sundaes piled high with tropical fruits, candies, and sauces for $8-$10. Milkshakes and floats made with your choice of ice cream start at $7.

Black Sheep Cream has friendly service but because it’s not very big with only 2-3 tables, we recommend getting it to go.
