When I started my research on Oia and Santorini, I kept coming across articles about ZOMG! THE PHARMACY EXPERIENCE! Could the articles and blog posts saying that the pharmacies in Europe were the best thing since sliced bread true? Would I be too busy soaking in the food and sights of Europe to stand in line with the crazies!?

Products to Buy at a Greek Pharmacy

On Santorini, there was a pharmacy about a 5 minute walk from our hotel. I spotted it on the way in but quickly forgot about it when I realized that our hotel was just perfection and I never wanted to leave. However, P felt like a cold was coming on so we walked to the pharmacy to see if we could get something to help him.

It was like stepping into a quiet and stark white Sephora. Full shelves held beauty products galore and brands I had never heard of. I could have spend all day in there but P dragged me out (I snuck back later.) The pharmacy in Oia had the best prices and selection but hands down the pharmacy in Imerovigli had the best customer service.

In my humble opinion, here are some brands and products that are must buys in Greece.

I started researching our trip to Imerovigli 2 years before we actually got there. Every review I read said that it was a quiet town tucked away from the hustle of Fira and the large crowds in Oia. What to Expect at Absolute Bliss Imerovigli

Absolute Bliss Imerovigli is about 20 minutes away from the Santorini airport. We had arranged for a taxi to pick us up but after 20 minutes of waiting with no one to get us, we decided to just grab a taxi ourselves and get ourself to the hotel.

We arrived early at Absolute Bliss Imerovigli hotel, check in time was 2pm but we arrived around 9am. The hotel was still quiet but the manager Sofia greeted us and asked if we had eaten breakfast. Since we hadn’t she told us to leave it to her. Within 15 minutes a huge spread was brought out which we ate on the main terrace under some thick blankets since it was chilly that morning. We were blown away by the amount of food and the freshness of everything. Right then and there I smiled and P and told him that we had made the right decision.
