The Disneyland princess or knight makeover is an additional activity that takes place at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, located in Fantasyland. Here, your party will be greeted by a Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice who will guide you through the transformation process.
Note: Bibbidi Bobbiti Bouqitue is for children aged 3 to 12.
Choosing A Princess Look
Before your child’s transformation begins, you will get to choose their desired princess look. Options include classic princesses such as Cinderella, Belle, and Snow White, as well as newer additions to the Disney Princess lineup, like Moana and Elsa.
Once you have chosen your princess, you will be presented with a variety of packages to choose from. These packages range from a simple hairstyle and makeup application to a full princess gown and accessories. Guests can choose the package that best fits their budget and desired look.

The Makeover Process at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
When your child is seated, a Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice will work their magic to transform your child into a Disney princess or knight. The makeover process includes:
- Hairstyle: Depending on your chosen princess, your hairstylist will create a hairstyle fit for royalty. One of the most popular looks is the high bun but there are a few to choose from. The cast members will use lots of gel and hairspray to set your child’s hair. You will also have an option for pixie dust which is a glitter mix that is added to the hair.
- Makeup: The cast members apply age-appropriate makeup, including eye shadow, lipstick, and blush. Don’t worry, the makeup is applied with your preferences in mind and can be as subtle or bold as you like.
- Costume: After your hair and makeup are complete, it’s time to put on your chosen princess costume. Your Fairy Godmother-in-Training will help your child into their gown and add any accessories you have chosen. You can either purchase a dress on-site or we recommend buying a dress-up outfit online to change into.
- Final Touches: To complete the makeover, Princesses will be given a sash, a wand, and a tiara. My child also received a small fabric bag to carry her accessories in. Knights receive a shield, and a sword in the basic package, and a full costume in the deluxe package.
