I’ve wanted to DIY a farmhouse table for the longest time.  For at least three years I’ve been searching for one at antique fairs and lusting after perfectly staged tables on Pinterest.  Since our outdoor space needed lots more seating, P. decided to DIY a farmhouse table using instructions from Ana White.

The wood totaled about $116 and it took about 6 hours to build.  P tweaked the benches a bit to reflect the X legs on the table.  The table is heavy and very sturdy even with the extra bracing we added to the benches.  We’ve already had two large get togethers and the table has gotten a ton of use!

It still needs painted/stained, I love the look of this distressed Fixer Upper table (made by Clint Harp).  Yes, it’s white, are you surprised?!  🙂
