The Cutest Halloween Picture Books!
For everything that skeletons do for us, why do they have such a bad reputation for being spooky? Maybe they are just like us and want to have a little bit of fun. The creative children's book duo of Kaine & Duds tries to set the record straight in this entertaining tale for everybody.
Readers who love stories about friendship, school, and little monsters will love this clever and humorous picture book about a skeleton who is falling to pieces and needs help pulling himself together. Perfect for Halloween!
Oh, to be a ballerina! It's a challenge for any little girl, but even more so if you happen to be a vampire like Vampirina.
A playful, delightfully illustrated book that sets the record straight about ghosts. Ghosts are not sheets with holes dragging around a ball and chain. Indeed, they're just as colorful and diverse as humans. Here you'll meet the ghost of the chimney, the TV, the kitchen, and the library, to mention just a few.
From the critically acclaimed author and illustrator of A Hungry Lion comes a unique Halloween story about a stemless pumpkin who dreams of becoming a jack-o-lantern.
TIPS for Creating a Halloween Book Nook!
You can create a Halloween book nook using some inexpensive things. Start with some short of shelves for your books. I used these versatile Amazon picture ledges but I’ve also spotted people using the Ikea spice ledge to hold books.. Then add some decor like flying bats or a colorful garland. Stock the book nook with a wide variety of Halloween books. Add some seating nearby with some fun floor pillows or a small kids chair.
