Little by little, we have been making progress on the upstairs rooms. Kiera’s pink room is the smallest in the house, perfect for her bed a bookshelf and a small dresser. We started off with Benjamin Moore’s melted ice cream wall color. It’s the perfect beigey-pink and we complemented it with white and gold.
We decided on the Jenny Lind bed from Walmart and I used a Cartwheel coupon on her Target bedding. The side table is a vintage Goodwill find and it always has her favorite bedtime stories stacked on it.
Selecting a dresser was proving to be a challenge, and then one day I was driving with a friend and I saw an adorable one at a local yard sale. It was sort of beat up and had stickers on the side, but I was super sturdy and just the right size. I had my brother in law spray it down with a glossy white paint and we used Rust-O-leoum’s gold spray paint on the vintage hardware.
The clothing rack was built by the husband and she uses it daily to decide on her own outfits. I used baskets from Target to hold her shoes, socks and other accessories.
Hope you enjoyed Kiki’s pink room tour!
