Maleficent’s Magnificent Berry Martini Halloween Cocktail!

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was released this month and Disney generously gifted me two books to celebrate the release! The first up was Heart of the Moors by Holly Black which takes place in between the movies. The second is Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and it’s the book adaptation of the movie. What’s better than curling up with a spooky Maleficent themed book and a cocktail? Here is a fun Maleficent inspired cocktail, Maleficent’s Magnificent Berry Martini!

For a fun movie night or Halloween costume party prep this Maleficent Magnificent Berry Martini. Instructions below!
How to Make MaLEFicent’s Magnificent Berry Martini
- Combine the following into a cocktail shaker.
- 2 oz of berry puree*
- 1 oz simple syrup or agave
- 1 oz berry flavored vodka (I used Hanson’s Boysenberry)
Shake with ice and serve with a fun prop like a spider or candy eyeball!
How to Make the Berry Puree
- 1 cup ripe black berries
- 1 cup ripe raspberries
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 TB sugar
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Strain out seeds until puree is smooth.
Need to serve a kid friendly version? Just substitute the vodka with lemon lime soda and pour over ice!
