Five Things That Should Be in the Wakanda Series on Disney+

The Walt Disney Company announced that it has entered into a five-year overall exclusive television deal with writer-director-producer Ryan Coogler’s Proximity Media, who co-wrote and directed Marvel Studios’ acclaimed global smash hit Black Panther.  Promixmity will develop new television series, which includes one based in the Kingdom of Wakanda for Disney+. The deal also enables Proximity to develop television for other divisions of the Company. Here are five things I want to see in the Wakanda series!

Should Be in the Wakanda Series on Disney+

Read on for five things that should be in the new wakanda series

The Fate of W’Kabi and the Border Tribe

We know that W’Kabi (played by the wonderful Daniel Kaluuya) and his Border Tribe surrendered at the end of Black Panther. I can’t be the only one who wonders what their fate is? Was W’Kabi imprisoned or expelled from Wakanda? Will there be an opportunity for him to come back? What about the relationship between he and Okoye? These are all things we need answers immediately!

Queen Ramonda Backstory

How fun would it be to see the origins of Queen Ramonda? I’d love to see how she grew up and the evolution of her love with T’Challa’s father.

One episode dedicated to the Dora Milaje

The Dora Milaje was such a stunning aspect of Black Panther. Strong, beautiful women who make up the entire kings guard? Yes please! I’d love to see more of how they train and the method for who is chosen to be one. Give us more of their dedication to King T’Challa, their Wakanda salute and show us other members!

More OF Nakia’s Rescue Missions!

In Black Panther, Nakia goes on a mission to recuse kidnapped girls and T’Challa assists her. I’d love to see more of Nakia’s rescue missions in and around Wakanda!

NEW VILLAINS

New villains in a no brainer in the Wakanda universe. Now that Wakanda is opened up, who else will try to infiltrate to gain power and control over vibranium?

A Killmonger Return?

Speaking of villains, I always thought that Eric Killmonger’s anger was justified. He is the true villain that has a reason for the frustration and hatred for the hypocrisy of the leaders of Wakanda. He died at the end of Black Panther but when did that ever stop Marvel?
