Things to Do While Exploring Disney California Adventure’s Pixar Pier 2024
Lots of people love Cars Land in Disney’s California Adventure, but did you there is just as much to do in Pixar Pier? There are lots of places to snack, relax, and shop in Pixar Pier. With new additions to their rides here are several top reasons to explore Pixar Pier!
1. Jessie’s Critter Carousel
Check out the newest ride at Pixar Pier, Jessie’s Critter Carousel. It’s been a while since there was a functioning carousel in Pixar Pier. If you remember, there was King Triton’s Carousel of the Sea. This carousel was a favorite ride of ours since I had something to do with the kids while the husband rode the nearby coaster.
2. Jack Jack Num Nums
Grab a Jack-Jack Num Nums and enjoy it with a cold drink. Nums Nums are oversized cookie treats that are available from a cart directly across from the Incredicoaster. The cookies are served warm and are so delicious!
3. Catch A PIXARMONIC Orchestra show
Grab a seat on the benches and watch a performance by the Pixarmonic Orchestra. The Pixarmonic showcases a group that sings fun tunes. It’s a nice way to rest and get out of the sun for a bit.
4. Shop At Bing Bings Sweet Shop
Bings Bings candy shop, inspired by the lovable character from Inside Out, offers a colorful selection of sweets and treats, including candy apples, cotton candy, and slushies. They also offer a limited selection of merchandise like clothing, pins and Mickey ears. Bing Bings is tucked away at the very end of the pier across from the Mickey Wheel.
5. Push on the Water Ball
What is it about these water balls that kids love? I originally thought that my kids would get soaked but the reality is, there isn’t much water to get wet with. The water ball is located next to where the Pixarmonic Orchestra has its show!
6. People Watch!
Pixar Pier is one of the few places in the Park that has plenty of benches for resting and people-watching! Stop at the covered benches across from Jessie’s Critter Carousel or relax near the benches in the quiet area just past Mickey’s Wheel.
7. Take a Spin on the Pixar Pal-A-Round
This iconic Ferris wheel offers stunning views of Pixar Pier and Disney California Adventure Park, and features Pixar characters on each of its gondolas.
