How to Decorate for a Minimalist Valentine’s Day

Today I wanted to share some Valentine’s Day Farmhouse decor.  I try not to go overboard for Valentine’s Day.  With my move toward a more minimalistic home, I’m trying to be really thoughtful in what I purchase.  Target, of course, has the cutest and very affordable decor.  I picked up several garlands and then used decor that I had in storage.

One way to decorate for Valentine’s Day is to use a combination of red, pink, and white colors. You can use balloons, streamers, and other decorations to create a festive atmosphere. Another idea is to use candles and another romantic lighting to create a cozy and intimate ambiance. You can also use flowers, such as roses and lilies, to add a touch of elegance to your decorations. Additionally, consider adding some heart-shaped decorations, such as garlands or wreaths, to give your home a true Valentine’s Day feel.

I always try to use our letterboard when I’m putting together a Valentine’s Day farmhouse decor look!  The kids like to help me come up with a phrase and because of this, I bought them their own letterboards for small Valentine’s Day gifts!

I’ve also been able to score some really great Rae Dunn Valentines Day pieces thanks to some great Dunnie friends.  I always keep a few pieces displayed on our bar cart.  This particular bar cart is a thrift store project that I redid but here is a similar option.

Overall, the key to successful Valentine’s Day decorations is to create a warm and inviting space that is full of love and romance. Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day?
