One of the easiest ways to have a minimalist Christmas is to travel somewhere and celebrate the holidays out of your regular space. This avoids the need to decorate and to store gifts if you are trying to avoid all that this season.
CONSIDER A DESTINATION!
If you have children consider the want need, wear, read gift guidelines for them. Choose a thoughtful gift that they want, one that they need, one that they can wear and one book to read!
WANT NEED WEARREAD!
DECORATE SIMPLY AND WITH INTENTION!
The difference between a minimalist and one who doesn't practice it is intention. I only choose decor items I LOVE and I'm constantly editing what I own to reflect only items that hold significance.
Another way to have a minimalist Christmas is to serve others. Consider donating time or money to an organizations that feeds the homeless or provides gifts to families in need!
