Review: Cambria Hotel Anaheim Resort Area
Disneyland area hotels can be hit or miss. I always look for hotels that provide family suites and have breakfast options within the hotel or nearby. For a media event, my partner Get Away Today hosted me at the Cambria. Read on for a review of the Cambria Hotel Anaheim Resort Area!
The Cambria hotel hosted me for two nights. All thoughts and opinions my own.
The CAMBRIA HOTEL ANAHEIM RESORT SUITES
The accommodations for a family of 4-6 are perfect. We had a suite with a kitchenette, a living room with a pullout bed (couch), and a bedroom with two queen beds. The room was very clean and had a minimalist aesthetic.
The room has a full-size fridge, and plenty of storage for the snacks that we bought as well. The microwave was a plus in addition to the thoughtful details like the shelf attached to the floor-length mirror, plenty of charging ports, and bathroom space. The bathrooms have two showers which are incredibly convenient.
The Cambria Hotel Anaheim Resort Breakfast
A hearty continental breakfast is offered every morning at the Cambria Hotel. There was lots of space to sit and eat within the dining area and sprinkled throughout the lobby. The hotel has mini Mickey Mouse waffles (at least 4 waffle makers) and the batter is dispensed from a machine like a smoothie.
There’s a hot food table that included eggs, sausage, potatoes, and bacon. They also offer the other usuals: bagels, toast, English muffins, cereal, fruit, juices, and coffee.
The CAMBRIA HOTEL WATER PARK
The Cambria Hotel Anaheim has a pool, jacuzzi, and waterpark (small splash pad with 2 waterslides.) You must purchase a suite room or Pay $75 to use it. The hotel has a lot of security in this area so make sure you have a wristband to access the amenities.
What is Near the Cambria Hotel Anaheim?
The Cambria shares a parking lot with a California Fish Grill, Starbucks, Jersey Mikes Subs, Yogurtland, and The Habit. Just these food options alone make it a strong hotel option because there are breakfast and dinner options that you can get and bring to your room!
There’s also a donut shop and 7-Eleven across the street!

Cambria Hotel Anaheim shuttle to Disneyland
There is no dedicated shuttle so the only other option is to take the ART bus. The ART system (Anaheim Resort Transportation) is available to go back and forth to Disneyland. The stop is behind the hotel on S. Anaheim Blvd and the ART will drop you off right on Disneyland Drive.
The Anaheim Resort Transit system offers convenient and affordable transportation to and from Anaheim area hotels and nearby attractions like the Disneyland Resort and Knott’s Berry Farm. When you purchase your ART passes through Get Away Today, you’ll get two days free – AND kids ages 3-9 ride free! Guests will need to download the Token Transit or A-Way WeGo app, create an account and click “Redeem” to add their passes.
The Toy Story shuttle area is nearby and is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Guests can walk across the parking lot to access the loading area. There are shuttles every 10 minutes or so, and loading is efficient.
