The Best Options For Breakfast at Downtown Disney!

Picture it, the weather is about 72 degrees and you are heading to Downtown Disney to start your day at Disneyland Resort. Here are the best options for breakfast at Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort!

1. GCH Craftsman Grill

The GCH Craftsman Grill is a quiet spot to dig into delicious dishes—from breakfast burritos and smoked salmon bagels for breakfast! Their avocado toast with poached egg and pomegranate seeds is a hearty option.

GCH Craftsman Grill offers various baked girls and there are quick-service style takeout items available too (parfaits, eggs, waffles, breakfast burritos, and more.) GCH Craftsman Grill also offers freshly made lattes.

GCH Craftsman Grill has both indoor and covered outdoor seating. It’s great for a casual meetup with friends if they’re at the resort for shopping or a quick bite near the theme parks.

2. Tortilla Jo’s

Did you know that Tortilla Jo’s offers several breakfast selections on the weekends? Tortilla Jo’s is a beautiful large Mexican restaurant in Downtown Disney. There are a lot of outdoor tables available if you wish to practice COVID safety precautions.

They have chilaquiles and huge breakfast burritos but also American options like french toast and pancakes.

Taqueria next door is the to-go version of Tortilla Jo’s. It is more casual and similar to Chipotle as you can watch your food being assembled. They offer breakfast bowls to go!

3. Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen

The express shop of Ralph Brennan’s offers delicious beignets that are very good–they use the Cafe du Monde mix! Breakfast sandwiches are also good, as is their coffee.

They do accept a Disneyland AP for a discount, so make sure to provide it at payment time!

4. The Coffee House

The Coffee House is technically at the Disneyland Hotel but it’s a short walk to the end of Downtown Disney. I’m including The Coffee House as an option for breakfast at Downtown Disney because they offer freshly brewed espressos, lattes, coffee specialties, other assorted beverages, snacks, and fresh pastries.

The Coffee House is open from 6 am to Noon. There is no inside seating but right outside there are several tables to sit and enjoy the quiet.

Later in the day, make sure to swing by before they close and get the most amazing dole whip outside of the parks. You can get a regular one or one made with rum. The rum is the perfect complement to the sweet-tart of the dole whip.

Parking at Downtown Disney

Parking is available at the Simba Parking lot on Disneyland Drive which is next to the Paradise Pier Hotel. The first hour of parking costs $10. Validations apply after the first hour of paid parking.  The Simba lot is about 5 -10 minute walk to Downtown Disney.
