Kid Friendly Restaurants at Disney Springs

Disney Springs offers a ton of dining options but there are some great options if you are looking for kid-friendly restaurants.  There are several quick service and sit down type restaurants that have relatively affordable meals for children.  Here are my top 5 kid friendly restaurants at Disney Springs.

1. D-Luxe Burger

Quick burgers and delicious shakes are what we found at D-Luxe burger. The restaurant has a cute rustic/country theme with high ceilings and plenty of seating on outdoors facing the springs. The burgers come separate from the fries, so you have to order them individually but they’re both worth trying. My husband liked his BBQ burger and paired it with the Funky Buddha Floridian Hefeweizen. My girls really loved the vanilla gelato shake and I thought the chocolate shake was delicious.

D-Luxe has lots of seating inside and outside the restaurant and is very kid friendly. The staff didn’t bat an eye when my daughter accidentally knocked over a full cup of water. They just brought over some towels while I scrambled with paper napkins. The downside to D-Luxe is that it’s fairly expensive. Three burgers and 2 shakes were close to $50! Not surprising considering everything at Disney is expensive.

2. Blaze Pizza

Blaze was the first restaurant we stopped off at when the kids were starving and we needed a quick bite. It’s a cafeteria style restaurants with an assembly line for pizza toppings. Blaze has fresh toppings and three different types of dough, including gluten free. I should say that the staff is quick and try their best to get you through the line as quick as possible. Our pizzas took about 8 minutes to be ready! I love that Blaze also offers chocolate milk, soda plus a variety of lemonades for drink choices.

Because this is Disney, I found the pizzas to be a few dollars more than the regular Blaze Pizza locations I’ve been in. Their Build Your Own Pizza runs at $9.65 and a plain cheese pizza for my daughters was about $7.25. Other locations can be $1-2 cheaper on both. However, this is probably your cheapest option in Disney Springs and one of the best option for kids. Even with the plenty of seating this place is packed so if it is, just take your pizza to go and find a bench or seating elsewhere in Disney Springs!

3. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin

One night we looked for a restaurant and called Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin. They had seating available so we zipped over. Homecoming offers Southern style farm to table food. The dining area was open and very large! We were sat at a booth long enough for 8 people. Although there is a large open bar in the center of the place, it’s definitely a place I felt comfortable bringing my kids. Our server got our apps out quickly knowing our kids were hungry, and they accommodated plain vanilla ice cream for dessert!

Our kids loved their fried chicken and as it turned out every person at our table ordered some version of the fried chicken. My salad was delicious, my husband’s chicken and donuts were tasty too. We split a side of mac n cheese which was so decadent and cheesy. The drinks were really wonderful too. This is a great choice if you want to bring your kids to a non-counter service place in Disney Springs!

4. Earl of Sandwich

Earl of Sandwich is a must eat when we visit Disneyland and will always be included in my top 5 kid friendly restaurant lists! I was thrilled to see that Disney World had a location. This is a great option for kids as they have sandwiches, soup, and mac n cheese! My favorite sandwich is the Holiday Turkey Sandwich, minus the stuffing. I love that they had it year round. it’s a warm turkey and cranberry sauce sandwich and the bread is so thick that it doesn’t get soggy fast.

Sandwich combos average around $11 each. There are also a ton of a la carte items that are reasonably priced. Earl of Sandwich does online ordering. If you are going on a busy weekend, or at the primetime of dinner, order online and all you do is go to the front to pick it up once you get there.

5. Ghirardelli

Technically Ghirardelli isn’t a restaurant, but it’s a great dessert option at Disney Springs. Ghirardelli has tables that you can dine-in or you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake and scenery. I’m a huge fan of Ghirardelli because it always delivers great quality food. The ice cream and the milkshakes are rich in flavor without being overly sweet and are served cold and fresh. And the portions are large and worth every penny!

Don’t forget to get your free chocolate sample from the chocolate store attached to the ice cream shop.  They have all kind of chocolates from the company, and you can also order coffee beverages in the chocolate shop or the ice cream shop.
