The venue itself is situated at 92-1185 Aliinui Drive, Kapolei, HI 96707, offering stunning beachfront views and is the luau that is closest to Disney Aulani.

  • Hawaiian Luau Package: Starting at $169 per adult and $119 per child (3-11 years), this package includes a traditional Mai Tai welcome drink, shell lei greeting, Hawaiian buffet dinner, and the spectacular Hawaiian Revue show.
  • Orchid Luau Package: Starting at $219 per adult and $159 per child, this upgraded package includes everything in the Hawaiian package, plus round-trip transportation from select Waikiki hotels and a premium seating location.

Regardless of the package chosen, Paradise Cove Luau guests can expect an evening filled with vibrant traditions and cultural immersion at this Hawaiian luau. As soon as you arrive on-site, they will be greeted with shell lei necklaces and refreshing Mai Tai punches. Our favorite part of the luau was the ancient Imu ceremony where meat and vegetables are cooked in an underground oven. We also enjoyed having the chance to learn about Polynesian arts and crafts.

In our opinion, the highlight of the evening is the extravagant Hawaiian feast, featuring island favorites and classics like kalua pig and poke. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.

The end of the luau was the spectacular Hawaiian Revue show, with mesmerizing hula dancers, fiery knife performers, and live traditional music.

Disney Aulani’s KA WA’A Luau, is a vibrant celebration of music, dance, and storytelling held right on the resort property. Get ready to journey through Polynesian history, savor local flavors, and be mesmerized by captivating performances.

KA WA’A takes place at Hālāwai Lawn, offering a beautiful open-air setting overlooking the ocean. The luau starts promptly at 5:30 PM with pre-show activities like lei-making and ukulele demonstrations, igniting your excitement for the main event. Arrive early to soak in the atmosphere and participate in these immersive experiences.

The cost for KA WA’A varies depending on seating options. Preferred seating, offering closer views and enhanced service, starts at $204 per adult and $124 per child (ages 3-9). General seating begins at $175 per adult and $104 per child.

The luau unfolds with a captivating story of Polynesian exploration, brought to life by talented dancers, fireknife performers, and live musicians. We enjoyed the traditional dances like the Hula and Tahitian, and our youngest was enthralled by fire-twirling displays.

As the evening progressed, a delicious buffet featuring local Hawaiian cuisine, with vegetarian and gluten-free options was available. I spotted fresh seafood, meats like beef and pork, tons of fresh fruit and even a few kid-friendly items.

Tips for an Ka Wa’a Luau:

  • Book your tickets in advance, especially during peak season, as the luau tends to sell out quickly.
  • Consider upgrading to VIP preferred seating for a more intimate experience and enhanced service.
  • Dress comfortably in island-inspired attire. I highly recommend wearing breathable fabrics and footwear suitable for walking on grass.
  • Don’t forget to bring a camera to capture the magical moments and vibrant performances.
  • Arrive early to participate in the pre-show activities and soak up the beautiful setting.
