Beautiful Minimalist Christmas Mantel Decor
Tis the season! This past weekend we dragged out all of our Christmas decor and lights to make the house festive. I always said that when I had my own house, I’d decorate using the kitschy Dept 56 holiday houses that were in every boutique I went to as a kid. These Target ceramic houses are now my obsession and I’ve added a few more to my collection this year. Stuffed inside 4 of them are copper fairy lights that are automatic timers. Our trusty Land’s End stockings round out the look as does a burlap garland I found on clearance last year at Marshalls! The stockings are sold out but here is a set of similar ones!
I sprinkled a bit more cheer throughout the house. Some of the items are vintage and some were purchased this season at Home Goods. The yarn trees below were a clearance find at Target last year. Here are a few more ideas for a simple minimalist Christmas mantel and decor!
Pick a neutral color scheme that it’s to add pops of red or silver! These white houses are a great neutral choice and I paired it with a burlap garland.
This minimalist tree is from Ikea and the white ornaments are mostly from Cracker Barrel- yes Cracker Barrel!
