With a modern look that has touches that pay homage to park founders Walter and Cordelia Knott, the 322 guestrooms now exude a stylish, country guest house feel. The Knott’s Hotel’s new rooms have neutral tones and clean lines as seen in the below photos.
The hotel, minutes from Orange County’s attractions, offers the largest convention and meeting space in Buena Park, including an 8,400-square-foot ballroom.
Guests can access the Thirty Acres Kitchen and Bar at Knott’s Berry Farm. Knott’s has crafted a modern interpretation of the farm, paying homage to the original 30 acres of Knott’s farm. The restaurant features a double-sided, wrap-around bar extending into the lobby, offering a 300-degree view and serving locally inspired craft cocktails and small plates.
The full-service restaurant menu offers twists on traditional American cuisine, with signature seasonal dishes reflecting the park’s changing seasons. An open-concept kitchen has Cordelia’s chalkboard of recipes, providing insight into the culinary inspiration behind each dish. The kitchen also features a subway tile mural replica of Paul von Klieben’s painting, a notable park artist from the 1940s, vividly depicting life in Knott’s early years.

Thirty Acres Kitchen and Bar perfectly complements the renowned Mrs. Knott’s Fried Chicken Restaurant at Knott’s Marketplace. Mrs. Knott’s Fried Chicken Restaurant, the birthplace of the legendary fried chicken dinner in 1934, continues to offer a timeless yet family-friendly dining experience and seems to pair quite well with the Thirty Acres Kitchen and Bar.
Additional Knott’s Hotel renovated amenities include a fitness room, coffee shop, and a spacious outdoor pool area with a splash pad. This is a great addition for families with younger children. Buena Park can feel very hot in the summer and the Knott’s Hotel is close enough to park for families to take a break during the day.
