Downtown Disney for Adults Only Tips
One of the best things I’ve ever done was crossing off a bucket list item of enjoying an adult-only Disneyland visit. There is a lot to do and enjoy if you don’t have children in your party. I got to thinking, I had a solid list of Disneyland tips but what about Downtown Disney? We visited recently and I was able to put together a list of Downtown Disney adult-only tips!

1. Enjoy a cocktail and gourmet food at Napolini
Napolini is a great restaurant with an outdoor bar. It can be expensive but the food and drinks are great. It’s smack dab in the middle of Downtown Disney so it’s a great place to people-watch.
2. Live Jazz at Flambeaux’s Jazz Club
Each night from 6-10, Ralph Brennen’s jazz kitchen hosts live music in the jazz club. This is also a great place to grab a bite and listen to some live entertainment.
3. Live Entertainment
Grab some ice cream at Salt and Straw and enjoy the free entertainment on the promenade! There are always entertainers out doing music or magic shows and there are benches in front of Jazz Kitchen to sit on!
4. Enjoy bowling or live entertainment at Splitsville.
Splitsville is a new luxury bowling alley at Downtown Disney. Fun for kids AND adults, Splitsville is a nice break from the resorts with lots of food and drink offerings. They also occasionally offer live music!
5. Bring a blanket and enjoy the fireworks at the Disneyland entrance.
If you don’t have a ticket to get into the resort, or would prefer to get a headstart back to your hotel, enjoying the fireworks in front of the Disneyland entrance is an option. Downtown Disney allows guests to stretch out and enjoy the fireworks shows that usually start at 9pm.
Did I miss anything? Leave your Downtown Disney adult-only tips in the comments!

I always loved downtown Disney!! I’ve never been to the one in Disneyland, but now that we are closer to California than Florida I will have to add this to my to do list.
