The Disney California Food & Wine Festival kicked off recently and runs for a limited time (from Feb 28 to April 21 2020). The festival offers a California-inspired menu along with Instagram wall opportunities, live cooking demonstrations, seminars, music, and specialty beverages! To get the best value, guests will again have the opportunity to use the Sip and Savor Pass, which includes eight tastings from all the booths. Some of the offerings are for adults (lots of the beverages have alcohol) but it’s Disney so there are a ton of options and things for eat just for kids. Here is a kid’s guide to the Disney California Food & Wine Festival!
What Can Kids Do at the Disney California Food & Wine Festival?
Kids can join in on the fun with the Junior Chef experience with Chef Goofy. Kids who are aged 3 to 11 will work with Chef Goofy to follow a recipe and mix ingredients to create a delicious treat! In addition, guests can check out family-friendly entertainment from performances from the Jammin’ Chefs to craft stations for kids who want to take a break in the shade! There are also lots of options for kids to eat at the festival!

What Can Kids Eat at the Disney California Food & Wine Festival?
There are a good number of items that kids would enjoy at the festival. Here are a few of the items my kids really liked!
1.Carbonara Garlic Mac and Cheese from Garlic Kiss
This Mac and Cheese was creamy and delicious. It’s one of the California Food and Wine Options that my kids asked for multiple times. It’s no surprise that the mac and cheese options are super popular this year, my kids loved the variations!
2. Fried Artichokes from I Heart Artichokes
Cripsy and tasty, who doesn’t love deep-fried vegetables? My kids fought over who got to finish these off!
3. Milk Chocolate Mickey Macaron
This dessert was popular in our entire group! It’s dense but really rich and tasty. The caramel and peanuts give this macaroon a slightly salty kick.
4. Impossible Cheeseburger Mac Cheese
Found at the Nuts About Cheese booth, this is the second mac and cheese option offered at the festival. The Impossible Cheeseburger Mac has ground impossible plant-based “meat” and it is delicious! Admittedly it was my first time trying an impossible product and it tastes so much like regular ground meat.
5.Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch
This was way too rich for me but the kids devoured it! Find it at the Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo booth!
Where Can Kids Sit to Eat at the Disney California Food & Wine Festival?
In Disney California Adventure, there are two areas that have seating, the benches near the Hollywood Backlot and the seating area in front of Paradise Garden Grill! The booths have tall tables near them, but most have no bar stools and they are too tall for the younger kids.
How much does it cost to attend the festival?
Many of the Disney Food & Wine Festival events are included with admission to Disney California Adventure Park. During the festival, the Disneyland Resort is offering special, limited time ticket offers. Kids everywhere along with Southern California Residents may visit the theme parks as low as $67 per person, per day with 3-day 1 park per day tickets.

I was invited to attend the Disney California Food & Wine Festival as part of the #AWEsomemastermind and provided with a Sip & Savor Pass. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, one of the things you’ll need to consider is where to stay. Elsa, the beloved Snow Queen from the Disney film “Frozen,” has become an icon in Disney parks. With her powerful voice, icy powers, and inspiring story of sisterly love, it’s no wonder that she has captured the hearts of Disney fans of all ages. Read on to take a closer look at where to see…
Now that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been open for a few weeks, we had the opportunity to visit Batuu a few times! Our first impression was one of wonderment, if you are a Star Wars fan this is a place that you MUST visit. We had a fantastic time taking in all the things…
Have you ever had a bad experience at Disneyland? Dealt with a rude cast member or fellow park goer? With the recent news of a disgusting violent brawl in Disneyland, I started thinking about the best ways to handle a bad experience. Not too long ago I dealt with a scary situation in which a…
As the gates to Disneyland California Adventure swing open, visitors are met with lots of options for drinks and snacks. While breakfast may not be the first thing on every visitor’s mind, starting the day off with a satisfying meal is a must. While the park has limited breakfast options, we’ve scoured every corner to…
