Disneyland Hotel Fantasy Tower Room Tour
For Kiki’s 6th birthday, she opted to go to Disneyland rather than have a birthday party! Birthdays are a particularly special celebration in our home. I didn’t have parties for the first few years of my life, so I make sure the kids have a good celebration on their special day. This year we headed to the Disneyland Hotel for a special trip! Here are some thoughts on the Disneyland Hotel Fantasy Tower room tour!
I felt that we got excellent customer service when we arrived. I was guided to a cast member to check in and she quickly helped me to gain access to our reservation. The cast member also asked if we were celebrating anything and when I said a birthday she gave me a birthday button with Kiki’s name on it. She also gave a few details on things I could order for the room to celebrate our birthday girl- think of options like balloons and cupcakes.

Our room was on the 8th floor in the Fantasy Tower and overlooked the parking lot. This initially gave me pause but I was so tired that I just rested and figured I’d go down later to see if I could get a room with a better view.
But the grass isn’t always greener and if I had moved I would have missed watching the nightly fireworks show from the room!! One of my best memories of Disneyland will always be sitting in the dark with the curtains wide open. We all piled into bed and watched the show. It was magical!
One other thing that made our trip great was access to the Magic Mornings (getting into the Parks one hour earlier) and catching the Monorail to and from Disneyland. At the end of a long day at Disney that Monorail ride saved us from the hike back through Downtown Disney!
