Affordable Breakfast Spots Near Disneyland
On the days that we aren’t grabbing coffee and running full speed to the Disneyland Park entrance, we like to have a sit-down breakfast. The kids always go for pancakes and waffles, however, P and I tend to get more creative with huevos rancheros or hash. There are a good amount of breakfast options both on the property and on the nearby Anaheim neighborhoods. Here are some affordable breakfast spots near Disneyland that we always make time to eat at!
THE MOST AFFORDABLE BREAKFAST SPOTS NEAR DISNEYLAND
1. Mimi’s Cafe
If you can get to Mimi’s Cafe early enough, a calm leisurely breakfast near the park is possible! My kids really love the waffles and I like that I can get a large omelet and a baked good which keeps me satisfied for several hours. Service is usually attentive with water and coffee filled promptly.
One option is to order ahead and pick up food especially if the parking lot is packed with folks heading to Disneyland.

2. Original Pancake House
Breakfast lovers will adore this place! Original Pancake House is an affordable breakfast spot not far from Disneyland, off of E. Lincoln and it’s a fairly small restaurant. They have a wide variety of pancake options and some of the biggest and tastiest omelets around.
Original Pancake House is very popular so there’s usually a wait, mostly an average of 15-30 minutes.

3. Country Family Cafe
Sometimes the best places are those non-descriptive small restaurants that serve up homey food at great prices! Country Family Cafe is a tiny diner (7-8 tables total) not far from Disneyland and it serves traditional Mexican and American breakfast dishes. The portions are large, the prices are cheap and the taste is amazing.
Menu highlights are the veggie omelets and chilaquiles!

This is a coffee chain however they offer a few affordable options like muffins and oatmeal. Perfect if you want to grab a bite to eat on the way to the Parks, Coffee Bean, and Tea Leaf is located off of Katella adjacent to the CVS!

6. BREWBERRY CAFE
Located off Katella, Brewberry Cafe is another small hole-in-the-wall place offering tasty breakfast options! The service is very efficient, you order and pay for your meal first then grab a table. Post covid there wasn’t much seating available so consider takeout.
Try the crepes or the Katella Nutella waffle!

7. McDonald’s
If you’re looking for a quick and convenient breakfast option near Disneyland, McDonald’s is a reliable choice. The iconic fast-food chain offers a variety of breakfast sandwiches, including Egg McMuffins, sausage biscuits, and breakfast burritos, along with sides like hash browns and pancakes.
While McDonald’s may not offer the same level of ambiance or variety as some of the other breakfast spots in the area, it’s a great option for those who are short on time or just looking for a quick bite to eat before heading off to the theme park.
